Masters side tournament
23 November, 2019
Minneapolis, MN USA

The Screaming Eagles are proud to host this years Flames of War Masters tournament in Minneapolis, MN! Alongside the Masters tournament this year we will also be running a one day 119 point Late War tournament open to all who would like to join us. The Screaming Eagles are a fun loving, laid back group of tournament players who always welcome players from outside of our local area. This will also be a great opportunity to meet some of the top players in the US and Canada. We will also be holding other events during the entire weekend!

The tournament will be 119 points Late War with no more than 3 formations allowed in a Force. Any official BF list that has been released ‪before 26 October‬ will be allowed.

Entry Fee: $10

Due to space restrictions, this tournament will be limited to 18 players.

We will be playing 3 rounds of 2 hours 30 minutes as follows:

Sign in: 8:00am
Welcome & briefing: 8:30am
Round One: 9:00am - 11:30am
Lunch: 11:30am - 1:00pm
Round Two: 1:00pm - 3:30pm
Break: 3:30pm - 3:45pm
Round Three: 3:45pm - 6:15pm
Wrap up: 6:30pm

NOTE: The exact times are subject to change. Time will be called at exactly ‪2 hours 30 minutes‬.  At this point, dice must be dropped and all play will end, regardless of the phase or number of turns played.

Missions and Attacker/Defender will be decided using Battle Plans as listed in the current Late War rule book and the More Missions pack, however, the TO will roll one die per round that is applied to all tables.  The roll will be announced after all players have had time to review their opponents force, discuss terrain, and pick a stance. Once a number has been rolled, that number will not be used again in the tournament. The More Missions Pack includes the Battle Plans Matrix (used to determine which mission will be played) and the updated Mission Victory Conditions. Please ensure you have the most up to date version of the More Missions Pack by visiting this link: https://www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=5507

For those who plan to visit us from out of town, welcome! In addition to this tournament we will be conducting other events throughout the weekend including painting workshops and a Megabattle on Sunday.

As the tournament is limited in the number of players that can participate, please let me know if you are planning to attend by sending an email to Banure@aol.com‬ with “Masters Side Tournament” in the subject line. Please send a copy of your force list to the same address before 16 November. If you do not have access to the Forces of War list builder, simply type your list into the email.

Edit: As part of BF’s Global Campaign (launching ‪on October 28‬) players can register accounts for the campaign and submit the results of their tournament games to the campaign.
