Mid-Atlantic-Standardized Tournament Rules

These are the rules that I have come up with after running numerous tournaments since 2015. I am making this available for anyone to use, and modify to their own particular taste. This is a simple rule format to create a thematic and somewhat balanced event.

This event will use the following mobility value system to determine who can attack and who can defend.
Planes and observer teams = 0
A unit consisting entirely of gun teams or heavy weapon teams = 0
A unit containing at least one infantry team = 1
A unit containing at least one wheeled or halftracked vehicle = 2
A unit containing at least one fully tracked vehicle = 3
Transport attachments are to be considered a separate unit for this process.

Compare your mobility value to your opponent's. The higher value of the two forces must choose Attack or Maneuver, the lower of the two must choose Defend or Maneuver. If for some reason your mobility value is tied, both sides may choose whichever option they wish. Once this has been determined refer to the More Missions Battle Plans chart. In a situation where a roll off determines who the attacker and defender are, the highest die chooses whether they wish to attack or defend.
